When the UK is dead, so is the Samsung Galaxy S8

Posted by MTV News on Thursday, August 30, 2018 06:36:38Samsung has released a few photos of the Samsung Gear S8, and now it has confirmed that the phone will be available in the UK from August 30th.

The Galaxy S7 was the first Samsung device to launch in the country, but Samsung has had to pull out of the market as it was struggling to compete with Apple’s iPhone and the likes of Google’s Pixel and Amazon’s Kindle.

The S7 and S8 are the first devices to feature a new ‘Samsung Gear’ design, which is expected to offer a new kind of fitness tracker.

Samsung is also hoping that its new S8 Plus handset will be the first phone to have a camera sensor bigger than the S7.

The Galaxy S9 will be launched in the United States on September 3rd.

The Samsung Gear is a smartwatch that will compete with Google’s Android Wear watch.

Its curved glass design is reminiscent of Apple’s own Watch Series 3, while its built-in sensors are designed to provide the highest-resolution sensors.

It has a 4.5-inch display, a 2,300mAh battery and can track your activity via Bluetooth, GPS and accelerometer.

The S8+ is likely to sport a smaller 5.8-inch screen, a 3,000mAh battery, a 1080p display and a slightly larger 2,100mAh battery.

Samsung has yet to confirm if it will release a new S9 model, but we expect it to feature an all-metal design.
